Hitomi started nude modeling when she was 18. Soon afterward, in 1990, she started to do some “Princess” and schoolgirl genre AV. Four high quality successful photobooks were published in ’92 when she was 21. She took a hiatus, only working on one photobook in 1994 and another in ’96. From ’95 to ’98, she worked regularly in AV, appearing in about 25 productions. During this time she also did some acting for television dramas. She appeared in one mainstream film, “Trouble Buster”, in ’96. Since her retirement, she has been working under her real name, Yukie Ochiai, as a script writer and a “noise artist” (whatever that is).

I have never seen any of Hitomi’s AV work (yet). For years I have been drawn to the incredibly fine work of the likes of Yuki Nishida and Masashi Hashimoto, among others, on her beautiful photobooks. We owe a debt of gratitude to scanners like Kuni and PureJapan for preserving this material for posterity.
