Welcome aboard rorikon, my good friend.

Ai Mizushima is indeed a very hard worker; at the rate she was working she’d have been the most prolific AV actress ever, if she kept it up. I guess she just got tuckered out. I read that she regularly booked “photo sessions” where fans could take selfies with her for 13,000 yen (about $140 in 2011) and did about 10 an hour for three hours every couple of weeks. A couple of sites say she is now working as a hair dresser for AV models, but I don’t know if she’s affiliated with a studio or working freelance.

She has at least ten different alias’ and I’m getting differing birthday stats. I think she’s probably still bumping and grinding in front of the camera, but she did write a nice little retirement farewell note on her official blog.
