How could such a cute college kid get in so much trouble with the government just for taking her clothes off? I read that she was under surveillance and was restricted from travelling after the crack down.

Story was that after the crackdown on online porn/nude begining 2009, she needed to officially announce that she won’t shoot nudes any longer. A year later, online game’s producer hired Zhang as its spokesperson, and again received the government official disapproval, reason was “vulgar marketing”.
But what she did in May 2013 we called that interesting and creative. She endorsed Male vaginal masturbation product, which was said to be 99% similiar to her vaginal structure. Funny this time the government did nothing.
