    That really is quite a body—her legs in particular are exceptional for a Japanese girl (as much as I love them, their legs are usually a weak point).

    That’s because she was a classically trained ballet and modern dancer, studying in Belgium under Maurice Béjart. She had to turn to modelling and acting because of an injury. She has had a brilliant career as an actor and in recent years has been directing. Here’s her bio.
