Maiko Kawakami has had a very successful career as an actor, singer, and model. She has appeared in literally hundreds of television, stage, and film productions. Her next film, “There is no cessation of rain”(やまない雨はない) directed by Kazuaki Kitazaki, is scheduled for release next year.

It’s well known that she loves cats and dogs. She’s also a bit of a cougar herself, having raised a few eyebrows when it became known that she had had an affair with a man ten years her junior.

Her Japanese Wiki page is quite thorough. She’s also featured in scores of blogs. She was born in 1966 and her first photobook was published in 1983, so it’s in that gray area, but it’s still for sale here.
