Halloween or Hallowe’en also known as All Hallows’ Eve, or All Saints’ Eve, is a celebration practiced in countries all over the world on October 31. Beginning on the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It initiates the three-day observance of All-hallow-tide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. Many Halloween traditions originate from Celtic harvest festivals… was Christianized as Halloween.
