Here we go with a really big entry into the group shot(s). This one is the brainchild of SOD (Soft On Demand ソフト・オン・デマンド) a Japanese adult video group. Speaking about their company one director said “SOD’s porno is ridiculous. There’s nothing really sordid about it” and “different to anything else in the porno world”…Well I can only imagine he said that before this one came out.

Their release from May 2006, 500 Person Sex (500人SEX), features 250 couples having sex (apart from each other but in the same room) in an impressive synchronized way.

The scope of such a production is near impossible to consider. How, just how in the world did someone come up with an idea like this…I can just imagine them sitting around a table thinking of all the possible themes for a new porn film…and one guy slams his fist down on the table and says, “500 people having sex, let’s do that!”
What ever…Anyway, I’ve seen this film…it is a spectacle to be sure, but minus any element of eroticism…going big doesn’t always bring out the best…
