Nice find Luke. There is not a lot of concise info out there on the group, but they formed under the name ENDOLL in 1994. The concept for the group was to take the idol (アイドル/aidoru) trope of super-cute, young and naive women (but I digress; that is a different post) in desperate need of marketing and combine it with the even more popular concept of nudity (ヌード/nudo) to get ヌードル/nudoru….nude idols…(sigh).

Anyway, a few members rotated out during their short run and the group only released one CD (that I could find mention of) with their debut song “I want to love with a pure white heart.” Seems the aidoru machine decided to cash out on the concept pretty fast – I couldn’t find reference to other groups. Maybe they figured out their cunning name “nudoru” is a homonym in Japanese for “noodle” (ヌードル), as in …Cup Noodle.
