Tsuruko (also known as “Pipuko” or “Pip”) is an Australian cosplayer about 20 yrs old who became quite popular on Instagram some time ago.
Her mother his half-Chinese, making her quarter-Chinese and barely qualifiable to be posted on the forum.
Naturally most pics are digitally enhanced and/or with makeup, lenses and stuff, but she’s still quite cute even without these, thanks to her Asian-Caucasian combination. Here’s the Facebook page with more or less the same content.

There’s also a Twitter account, which is protected, and this page on some kind of network for cosplayers which hasn’t been used in more than 2 years.
She also had a Patreon but quit it because she was being harassed by some creeps AFAIK.

March 23, 2018 at 2:31 PM #200937Despite the cuteness, she used to have this bitchy persona/attitude I wasn’t too fond of, but she seems to have mellowed out, especially since she mentions she’s now living alone and figuring out how to live on her own.

March 29, 2018 at 9:09 AM #202151yes indeed, she’s extremely cute! She also has a very sweet smile, but rarely shows it. There are also some very funny and goofy expressions, but I’m not going to post them here!

February 28, 2019 at 3:30 PM #252232Recently Tsuruko made a video regarding her experience as a mixed-race girl. The title is maybe a bit clickbait-y but it does reflect what happened to her.
She states that during school she felt “too Asian” and desperately tried to look more Caucasian in order to not be shunned; then, when she discovered the anime and manga fandom, most people she knew there were obsessed with Asians, so she felt “too white” to fit in there. Only recently, after living on her own, she started to truly like herself for what she is.
The video is maybe a bit too long, and some lines where she recalls her earlier sassy personality are kinda out of place (was the Elliot Rodgers reference really necessary?), but all in all it is a sincere and heartfelt talk.
Of course I did also enjoy her cute Australian accent, sweet smile and porcelain skin. -
