Waveya Moves to Allegro con fuoco from Dvořák’s 9th

The above video features an abbreviated, 3-minute version of “Allegro con fuoco” from Antonín Dvořák’s New World Symphony, traditionally know as Symphony No. 9, which is by far his most popular musical work. This video features Korean dance team Waveya (first featured here) and was produced by B-Classic, to promote their annual classical music festival, happening this month in Belgium.

For more on Waveya, whose above and current line-up consists of mainstays Ari and MiU, along with new members Rumi, Yess, and Jin, you can check out their Facebook fan page, which is pretty much the best English source for current info on them. Of course, they also have a Youtube channel, Twitter, and a Daum Cafe fan site in Korean.

Sandra Oh – Blue Before Grey’s

After Lucy Liu and Grace Park, Sandra Oh is probably the best-known Asian actress on US television, so there sure isn’t anything I can reveal about her here that isn’t already known or hasn’t already been shown. But for those who don’t follow Sandra’s character, Dr. Christina Yang, on the Emmy Award-winning show, Grey’s Anatomy; just last night she said her final farewell to Grey Sloan Memorial after 10 seasons.

Her portrayal of Dr. Yang on the show since its debut in 2005, has earned her a Golden Globe and two Screen Actor’s Guild awards and the above scenes sure aren’t from Grey’s Anatomy. They’re from the 2000 film, Dancing at the Blue Iguana, in which Sandra played Jasmine, a poetry-writing stripper.

Playboy Playmate Dae Nong Dam

As Hefner is a gentleman who prefers blondes, it isn’t too often we see many Playboy Playmates of color, let alone those of the Asian persuasion, but Playmate Dae Nong Dam sure makes up for the long “dry spell” Playboy has had since an Asian lady has graced their centerfold.

A girl who possesses amazing flexibility (as shown above), the Hawaiian-born stunner has only been modeling for two years, but during that short time, she’s won several bikini contests and landed a role in the upcoming Playboy/HBO series Fox Force Five.

Park Seo-yeon – Gastronomic Exhibitionist

Sexy broadcast jockeys (known as BJ’s and yes, I know), who dance for and flirt with their viewers in exchange for tips, are nothing new in Korea and have been featured here before. However, in the last couple of years, a new breed of pretty female BJ has emerged, who simply eat for their viewers’ enjoyment.

Park Seo-yeon in one such BJ. Her cam shows consist of her eating a full meal, while commenting on her repast. She doesn’t dance in skimpy outfits or engage in overtly flirtatious chats full of sexual innuendo. She simply does what any girl would do while eating and perhaps there are even some normal guys who’ve had the courage to actually ask her to dinner and view it in person.

Elaine Kim is an attractive model that I’ve had on my list for a while but forgot about. I thought I featured her before, actually.
