Apparently the whole set of movies has a soundtrack of the local ’70′s Japanese rock music in them, I don’t know yet how many feature Akiko Wada.

I have this movie as part of a boxed set of movies released by Arrow Video in the UK, but which I was lucky enough to pick it up second hand from a local seller on Ebay … seller kept reducing the price, so I couldn’t resist. The box includes all 5 movies in Blu-Ray ( in high def 1080p with cleaned up visuals and sound track) , plus all 5 movies on DVD, plus a set of specials on the movies.

Just watched “Stray Cat Rock: Delinquent Girl Boss” last night.

Boy and Girl is also on the soundtrack for the movie The girl gang Wada falls into hang out a lot in a club which has live music. In one scene Wada is on stage singing the song “live” with the resident band.

Great pice of music – was used in a classic , but a little boring, TV show of the same name.

from a great doco “Standing In The Shadows of Motown – Meshell covering the Temptations on Cloud 9 .. backing band are the original muso’s from that classic 60′s Mototown era.
