It seems to me I recall Dr. Lee saying he’d had a go ’round with Tina previously but I can’t remember the particulars. [Yep—will elaborate in the comments —Dr. Lee] In any case Tina, born in Shanghai on 1985/10/28, is a quite talented cellist and composer who began playing piano at age 3 and cello since age 7. Her father’s a concert cellist and her mom a concert violinist. Tina has a distinctive sound, is known for her theatrical shows featuring elaborate costumes and for ability to jump from genre to genre.

As for my story, well I got in touch with her when we featured her on the old site years ago. She was quite keen to be featured at first, and loved the article, but pressure from her teachers and other people around her at the time led to her asking me to take it down, which I did. I m hoping that now that she doesn’t have to please her teachers and such she won’t have a problem being featured here now. Anyway, we actually ended up becoming friends, given our shared love of music amongst other things, but after a while we lost touch. Some time later I came across her Facebook page and messaged her—at that time she’d just become engaged. I mentioned that she had a raunchier image now, which she certainly did (as you can see from many of the pics). Her bizarre response was “Raunchy? Never message me again!”. I guess having just become engaged she didn’t want any complications with other men in her life. I’ve never spoken to her again since then.

When she was a kid she played in an orchestra that my family is associated with. Two years ago (if I’m not mistaken) she played with them again as an alumni for an anniversary of the orchestra. From memory at that time she had very recently had a baby.
Long story short, raunchy is a pretty negative word (not how I would describe the pictures) and being a new mother I can understand her reaction a bit.
All that aside, still very much appreciate if anyone can post more pics in the forum -

I’ve checked back every few days and see don’t see anything new. Quite a bit of build up waiting to see the new pictures, hope I’m not disappointed. Perhaps they could be emailed to one of the moderators to be posted?
