Felicia Wang, aka DJ FelNlove, is – as the name implies – a DJ. She does some modeling work, but most of it is to promote her DJ skills so it’s very stylized the way most music marketing is stylized. I’m not sure how I feel about the recent trend of female DJ’s promoting themselves via their sex appeal. On one hand, I don’t think that I’d be more inclined to frequent a certain club or lounge just because the DJ is attractive, as opposed as to whether or not they are skilled technical artists who can work a crowd.
On the other hand, if this means more girls are wearing less clothing in the hopes of making a name for themselves, I’m all for it!
