Some of the suggestions that come in via the Suggest Post can prove difficult to fit into the normal format despite their obvious merits, so this suggestion by Bubalabobo is a step away from the usual, but hopefully you can work with me…

We all enjoy sexy newsreaders, whether it the sense of authority, their calmness in the face of disaster or just their impeccable diction, there is something that keeps us tuning in to our favourite news service. Of course the experience is all the better when the presenter is Asian, which leads us to the following: who are your favourite Asians news ladies? Post a link, or better yet upload a photo and share the love…

My personal fave is Sophia Thomson from ABC3′s BTN. Don’t judge me—I don’t really like the news. :(

    I’m a big fan of Kristie Lu Stout.
    I rarely see her, but she’s caught my attention…

    Funny, she looks much better on TV, than on pictures. Not that photogenic IMO.

    Korean newscaster and reporter Jang Mi-il will always be one of the most enjoyable female anchors (of any ethnicity) I’ve watched.

    The Bay Area has a bunch of them, however the good stuff seems to be on LA and New York stations.

    But of course, the gold standard isn’t Asian at all, but the amazing Jackie Guerrido. The Mexican and American Hispanic stations are in an arms race for hot weather girls.

    Sometimes I watch newscasts ONLY because the anchors are hot Asian women.

    Korean, Hong Kong, Viet, Japanese news….if I am flipping channels anywhere in the world I just leave it on them.

    The “problem” with the “Left Coast” of America are all the Asian news reporters. I can watch two hours of news and have no idea what the hell is happening in the world.

    Don’t judge me.

    Van Tieu of KRNV in Reno, Nevada is also very attractive. Oddly, she seems to be best-known as the co-anchor of that guy who made headlines last year for being fired from KFYR in Bismarck, North Dakota (Van’s former station) for cursing on the air.

    Since she was the lead anchor then, she had the task of apologizing to the viewers at the opening of the following newscast. You can check that out here.

    I’ve looked in vain and can’t find it, but there is a phenomenal website that contains nothing but clips (it must be thousands) of hot women news broadcasters around the world, indexed by country. If someone else tracks it down maybe they can post a link here.
