We all have our preferences/prejudices about what we look for in an Asian Siren and for me, short hair is usually a no-no…
You are currently browsing the archive for the Singers/Musicians/DJs category.
Continuing in the same vein as my first post, I present to you all the other reason behind my intrigue with K-pop, and that is Wang FeiFei.
If you don’t like Risa Yoshiki, you’re probably visiting the wrong website…
advertiseHello all. I’ve been a big fan of this website since I first discovered it back in 2005 while I was in college. Being that this is my first ever post on Asian Sirens, I thought it appropriate to introduce a stunner that I’ve been enamored with for quite some time…
While I’m not much of a fan of manufactured pop music, there was something about Korean act KARA that piqued my curiosity when I first Googled them on Travis’ advice…
This is another excellent guest post from our resident metalhead Elric —the Doc
Ji-In Cho (조지인, born December 30, 1976 in Leverkusen) is a German heavy metal singer of Korean descent. She has been the lead vocalist and pianist of the symphonic metal band Krypteria since December 2004.
Note from the Doc: this truly outstanding guest post is one of several we have received over the past week, so please be patient while we get through them all.
The ever changing hair styles, body full of tattoos and striking outward beauty of Thai born model Scarlett Lash take a back seat to her warm, welcoming, and unrelentingly honest personality. These characteristics are all the more impressive as they are fully a product of her own making and come after years of hardship failed to take her down.
Singing duo As One got their start in the US, but their national fame is in Korea. Chae Da-hee and Lee Min-young, better known as Crystal (short hair) and Min (long hair), are both natives of the Los Angeles area (Crystal being born there and Min moving there as an infant), and were discovered there by a Korean artist who got them signed with a record label in Korea, where they recorded and released their debut album Day By Day in 1999.
They’ve been going strong as a duo ever since and, as someone who’s had the pleasure of meeting them both, I can say they’re just as charming and as close as they appear to be in the above 2006 video for their version of “Jingle Bell Rock.” The ladies currently host their own radio show, K-Popular on TBS eFM radio. Happy Holidays!
advertiseWhen Travis first sent me some names to feature, I quickly checked them out on Google to see what was in store. My OCD tendencies meant I have worked from top to bottom, but this was one that really captured my attention from the get-go—after all, everyone loves a good scandal….
