Sonya is an actress who began her career back in 2003.
Modeling and surfing are also listed among her exploits. Filipina/Irish/caucasian American and born in Kalaheo, Hawaii, Sonya also competed in and won the Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageant in 2004, and was first runner-up in the Miss Teen USA national pageant (Hawaii’s highest placement since Kelly Hu in ’85). Her most notable acting work to date is the 2011 film Soul Surfer, and current TV series The Inhumans (which also stars previous siren Sumire), which I expect to be canceled any moment now as it is awful. Sonya, however, certainly isn’t, and we can expect to see more of her in the future.
