Pinay Fierce

Pinay Fierce is, well, a fierce Pinay. You’ll have to take her word for it.

And that’s about all the info she gives up other than she was born in the Philippines and came to the US as a teenager, lives in San Diego, California and has been modeling for quite some time. I notice that recently I’ve seen more than a few Filipinas refer to themselves as Pacific islanders (which of course they technically are) when that term conjures images of Samoans, Tahitians etc. Just strikes me as kind of odd.

Be still my racing heart. I know it’s my vice, Asian women like Miss Fierce are my nirvana.

Interesting, in the first image she looks super, and I expected great things when I opened the thread, but most of the rest of the images are a bit of a disappointment. There’re not bad, but just don’t stir the soul like the first one.

    DeepSky,

I felt a little bit the same, I think that she needs a sympathetic photographer or comes off looking a little harsh, I think Doc might say a bit masculine. That said when they capture her well she is gorgeous.

I’ve always thought that too…the Philippines may be an island nation in the Pacific, but it’s not really considered a Pacific island in the sense that Hawaii, Guam, Wake Islands, Marshall Islands, Samoa, Fiji and many many more are. It’ll always be a part of Asia to me. Just like Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Japan/Okinawa. all island nations in the Pacific.

but still considered a part of Asia.

    You guessed correctly. :)

Maybe the Pacific Islander thing is a backlash against their old “part Spanish” BS?

Most of the Pinays I know are fierce, but they don’t look like this, unfortunately. My boss does, though, but also sometimes takes the fierce part to a whole new level.

    Dr. Lee,

“Ethno-linguistically speaking, Filipinos are more closely-related to some ethnic groups in Borneo and Suluwesi, than the natives of Marianas and Carolinas. Borneo and Suluwesi natives are either Malaysians or Indonesians. And Malaysians and Indonesians are considered Asians.” That, and the Philippines only having the Pacific to their east as opposed to N-E-S-W unlike the usual suspects. Sounds about right.
