Miwa Asao

Mr J asked that we consider Miwa Asao for the Hallowed Halls.

Miwa is an idol best known as a beach volleyball player. The tanned, fit and smiling Miwa is commonly referred to as “the pixie of beach volleyball” due to her height, which may actually be considered rather tall for a Japanese woman… unless she plays volleyball. She’s become a national celebrity due to her many appearances in magazines, newspapers and television. While I find Miwa attractive, there’s something about women with big grins on their face as they slap balls that makes me a bit uneasy.

    A blast from the past. She used to be the hottest thing but eventually faded from the scene. I’m not sure if she’s even playing anymore but I think she got married and had a kid a few years back.
