Jia, more properly Jyah Fong, was born in Hong Kong but fled to Singapore after the CCP take-over, then made her way to the US where she obtained a second Masters degree and became a US citizen. She has a consulting business advising clients on Asia policy. When she isn’t doing that stuff, she steps behind the camera (she has a degree in photography) to shoot, among others, her girlfriend. This is the Asian siren I picture.
