Margaret (China) Lee

We were watching some clips on YouTube of one of our favorite non-Asian sirens, Ann-Margaret, when we saw and remembered a true Asian siren.

And another Margaret. A quick check showed Asian_Fap_Box paid homage to this retro siren back in 2023 in the forum.

Margaret (China) Lee’s main claim to fame was being the first Asian Playmate way back in 1964. She was also a glamour model, an actress and a Playboy bunny. In fact, she was a ‘bunny trainer’ traveling the country to teach new bunnies how to do the job.

She was born in New Orleans to immigrant parents and worked as a waitress and hairstylist before hopping around the Playboy clubs in Chicago and New York City. Her bunny bio states that ‘China’ is pronounced Chee-na to rhyme with Tina. Whatever. She had bit parts in numerous movies and TV shows (who can forget her as a robot in 1965′s Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine?), with her last role in 1969′s Medium Cool as a roller derby patron.

She was married many years to comedian Mort Sahl. Margaret made her last on-screen appearance in 2004 in Playboy: 50 years of Playmates. After seeing her you would have thought Hefner would have wised up a bit more.
