Sumire Kurokawa began her AV career in 2010 with the agency Five Promotion, initially using several stage names. From 2011 to 2013, she was known as Natsume Inagawa (稲川なつめ), and in 2020, she briefly worked as Natsu Nishida (西田那津). In November 2013, she debuted as a stripper at Shinjuku New Art but paused her entertainment activities that same year. She returned to the AV industry in 2018 under the name Sumire Kurokawa, affiliating with the agency Mine’S. In February 2020, she announced a transfer to Life Promotion and adopted the name Natsu Nishida, but by November 2020, she had returned to Mine’S and resumed her activities as Sumire Kurokawa. Her career has included over 29 credited works, and she is recognized for her adaptability and presence on screen.

Sumire Kurokawa is originally from Shiga Prefecture and has hobbies that include gymnastics, kyūdō (Japanese archery), visiting cafes, and shopping. Before entering the AV industry, she worked as a “freeter” (a Japanese term for someone who moves between part-time jobs) and entered the industry after applying to several jobs, ultimately choosing the first company that responded-an AV production company. Notably, she has shared that she maintained her virginity until her AV debut.
