Priyanka Yoshikawa is a request by T-bone.

For the 2nd year in a row, a multiracial woman captured a major beauty pageant title in Japan. In 2015 it was Ariana Miyamoto winning Miss Universe Japan, and in 2016 Priyanka captured the Miss World Japan pageant—no small feat in Japan but, it seems, the times they are a-changin’. Born to a Japanese mother and a Bengali father, Priyanka was born in Japan and also lived in the US from the age of 6 to 9. She’s an amateur kickboxer, has worked as a translator and art therapist and is even licensed to train elephants. You can never tell when that last one, particularly, might come in handy.
