Mieko had a long and varied career.
Mieko Arai was a JAV idol born in Tokyo on October 18, 1972. In her career, aside from the JAV work Mieko was also a pop singer, gravure idol, nude model and mainstream actress. Mieko‘s active period ran from 1989 to 2007 (from 1991 to 1994 Mieko was an original member of 1990s idol girl group the Giri Giri Girls), after which she retired from public life.
