Incredible, right? Here’s a question I’ve been meaning to ask Dr. Lee. Yes, there is a different aesthetic—Asian women generally don’t want people to know they have a boob job, but in the west, many women (and men) actually like the fake look. To some degree though, it was also a result of the ban on silicone in the US: if you look at early silicone liquid boob jobs in the west, they look quite natural too. But when only saline was allowed, US doctors adopted the bizarre and contradictory policy that overfilling them was a good thing (to avoid rippling). But this made them very firm and round, and lead to the common look we have today.
