In the Beginning there was Hitomi Kobayashi. Literally.

The very attractive Hitomi (born Yukari Ishii) has been called one of the founding figures of JAV, and had an uncommonly long (for JAV) career, appearing in some 70 films up to the age of 40—and still looking good as the posted photos attest.
