Deborah Priya Henry, or Priya Emmanuelle, is a Malaysian beauty contestant, in fact she was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 and Miss Malaysia World 2007. She was also placed in the Top 16 at Miss World 2007 (thanks Wiki).
Deborah is of mixed descent, her mother is Irish and her father a Malaysian Indian. She had quite a bit of success on the pageant scene and modelling at the time, and used her fame to promote various charitable causes including co-founding the Fugee School for Somalian war refugees. Unfortunately (for us) her career seems to have moved beyond model work and her outfits tend to be very conservative these days.

Yes, pretty – just like the women on the other 1,000,000 Hot Women internet sites out there. But if I saw her at the supermarket I would not guess she was Asian.
The watered down mixes of late seem to be a politically correct focused resistance to the name of this site.

If I saw her in the market I’d guess some sort of Asian myself.
I don’t get the PC reference as it pertains to this site. AS features beautiful and talented women. A statistically small number are some Asian and “X” mix and the vast majority are not. I myself have had something like 28 subjects posted with 3 being mixed. -
Discussions are healthy. This is a solid site with a faithful crew over the years.
Let’s say you were always into the “look” of big bosoms. So you start a site called “BigJugs Women” and people flock to it. If you post a photo of a woman with medium breasts and say, “She’s hot and her mom has really big boobs, so it’s ok,” the fact is it’s not what the people came in for. It’s the “look” that men are interested in with these kinds of sites. If you skirt around the edges you miss the mark of the site.

Her look is very Indian, and India is very much part of Asia. I know that most of us here—including me personally—actually go for the oriental look, but we can’t call the site Oriental Sirens, given that word’s (inexplicable) offence to many Asian Americans. Having said that though, I think it is interesting to explore the outer limits of the Asian look from time to time, as I feel it gives us a greater appreciation of it, and we are living in an increasingly mixed world.

It’s an interesting debate. Personally I really like the South East Asian looks. I prefer darker skin and love mixed girls especially. I can understand that people expect a certain thing based on the site name but I prefer to be inclusive and based my decision here purely on the fact I think she is hot. I’m not trying to be PC in doing this.
