“How about Maria Kang?” longtime reader fungusfarm asked on the suggest post page, and I agree Maria is definitely a siren in my book.
Maria had been in the news a little while back when comments she made about housewives staying in shape caused a bit of a stink. In fungi’s words…
She’s Chinese – Filipino and former fitness model and Miss Chinatown. She’s been in news lately for her facebook posts showing her fit body and encouraging other mothers to get in shape. It caused quite a stir as some took offense to it. She’s based in Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento Metro Area, Cali). She’s fit and beautiful. No nudes but lots of bikini shots. She does have her own website mariakang.com.
I think Maria is beautiful and promoting an healthy lifestyle is an admirable goal. Kudos to her for getting back in shape after having 3 kids, hopefully people focus on the positives in her message. Thanks Fungusfarm!

This woman pisses me off and she only looks good when she is airbrushed anyhow.

I saw one tv interview….she said using her kids as weights as she played with them kept her in shape.
I did not really pay attention, but I guess she did not choose her words well and came across as rude.

In some pictures Maria looks quite pretty while in others she’s not really my type. But I can’t fault her for promoting staying in shape.
What I did find a bit disingenuous is something from the What’s Your Excuse poster. It seems to imply Maria is not a fitness model, when in fact she is just that. Looking the way she does is her career. It’s unrealistic to suggest the average mom would look like a Maria if she just stopped making excuses. Now I know the website it promotes isn’t Maria’s, but I think using a fitness model to appeal to the average woman is more likely to discourage than motivate. But what the hell do I know?

Have to agree with you. She certainly is fit but, as you said, that’s her job. To nitpick, the implants in pic #4 look a bit painful to me, the type that look like they’re trying to jump off the chest. I’m a bit surprised her glutes aren’t a little more prominent. I like her face in some pics but not as much in others. I’ll just say she’s attractive but not my type. Respect the bod though.

That pic does look like implants but I’m not convinced, they seem natural most often to me.
FWIW as I get older and watch the people around me fight to stay in shape I have an admiration for her promoting an healthy lifestyle and maintaining her figure. Personally I remain in top nick pretty effortlessly :p

I actually LOVE this lady and fitness models in general. Pretty, STRONG, FIT, and HEALTHY. Especially a women with 3 kids and actually took the time to work out. That’s amazing. A great role model for women. There’s not many Asian Fitness Models out there. I think It’s AWESOME to see this one promoting herself.

It seems she have the whole package in a woman. Pretty, AMBITIOUS, STRONG WILLED, DRIVEN, goal oriented, INDEPENDENT, and INSPIRING. It’s amazing to see a woman who fulfills her role as a wife, mother, and fitness model. THAT is what caught my attention.
