Korean beauties have been under represented here of late and in an effort to square the ledger Lapis was good enough to point out the talented Doona Bae, a nice find indeed.
I think most here will recognize her face after her prominent role in the confusing Tom Hanks film Cloud Atlas, but Doona has an extensive list of credits in Japanese and Korean cinema prior to her success on the international stage. Some of her notable performances include Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), The Host (2006) and Hirokazu Koreeda’s Air Doll (2009), as an inflatable doll come to life. Her roles have at times involved reasonably explicit sex scenes, and she achieved kudos for performing without makeup. Doona is the daughter of Kim Hwa-Young, a famous South Korean actress. She also has a passion for photography, and is definitely one Doona I wouldn’t mind snuggling under (may be an Aussie thing).

Not a traditional beauty but very unique look about her that I find very attractive and refreshing. I love her quirky face.
I first noticed her in Japanese movie, Linda Linda Linda (about high school girl band) before finding out she’s not afraid to show her lovely natural breasts!!! The Host is good one as well as “As One”. I, for one, loved Cloud Atlas – although I had to watch it few times to get the story line and figure out who’s playing who in them.
