Ruby Yến Nguyễn

Vietnamese model Ruby Yen Nguyen is currently working the free samples in Haiphong…

…or so Google translate tells me! Ruby says “I’m very passionate and love shooting fashion, style is sexy pursue and take maximum curve of the body”. Ruby’s upcoming plans include “to take the robe of the collection to help her more interesting”. Sounds intriguing. Anyway where did I leave my ticket to Haiphong?

That first image is an exquisite shot, isn’t it? I just love the shape of her hips and butt and the way her right arm frames her face. The design of her bikini bottom is cheeky too with plenty of holes to titillate, but not showing too much skin. I would have preferred to see her wear less eye makeup in several of the images. I don’t mind declaring I have a bias for Vietnamese models.

I’m not much for the Vietnamese girls, and this is another one with a face that just does nothing for me. Her body is nice package and all but too hard for me to look beyond the face.

You do realise that’s blasphemy around here, don’t you? ;-) Seriously though—although I strongly disagree with you on Viet girls in general—I basically agree with your opinion on this girl. Although I do find her quite sexy regardless, especially her posing—the opening shot in particular is absolutely breathtaking.

With some 54 different ethnic tribes making up the Vietnamese population, I reckon I could find more than one whose face you’d like :-) . While I recognise this model as “looking” Vietnamese, I would have difficulty in describing a “typical” Vietnamese look. I think this model’s makeup makes her look a little harsh and a sweeter face can be found behind the mascara and eyeshadow.

Good God, man! I don’t know what to say. If it is glasses you need, we will get them. Your fellow AS members are here for you! :)

The Great Doc nailed it here….and I agree with Taipans’ posts except for the part of eye makeup. Too much eye makeup good. Very good.

And yes, that first picture is amazing. Look at her jawline, look at her nose. Look at that perfectly defined profile and her nice lips. Even her eyebrows are the kind women wish they had.

I shant compare her with “SHE WHO SHANT BE NAMED” (an AS rule to avoid those arguments of who is hotter), but Ruby here is a winner.

I pretty much agree with MaJieMao. From the neck down, excellent, upwards, not a real favorite. More her hair, IMHO.

She’d be mildly diverting for a minute or two on a dreary rainy sunday afternoon.

    :-) wow!

At first she seemed meh… an also run but than pics 7 and 8 nearly took my breath away. Does she have prettiest face? Maybe not but she’s cute. Her bod is smokin hot. I’m still seeing stars although my breathing is returning to normal.
    :) :) :)

I can see why the French liked Vietnam so much, lol.

Well generalizations are meant to be taken as generalizations, There are Caucasian people native to China but I wouldn’t refer to them as Chinese in the greater sense even though they are. There are beautiful girls in every country I just find on my trips to Vietnam I see far fewer then in other Asian countries I travel to. Elly Tran Ha is Viet girl I find very cute but she is rare find.

I understand what you’re saying. I’ve only spent a little time in Hong Kong and Singapore, but have travelled widely in Vietnam. Every time I return to Vietnam, I am amazed at how many women I find so attractive. My wife is Vietnamese, and so I don’t discount the possibility that I’ve been “tuned” to appreciate Vietnamese beauty. But then again, she does not have a “typical” Vietnamese look (whatever that means), and so I’m not so sure about having been conditioned. Those who have spent time in Vietnam admiring the sights would have to agree I think, that Vietnamese women, in general, have been blessed with a body type that is petite, but amazingly curvy. They really fill out jeans and shorts in the nicest way possible. :-)

I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Her face is OK and she needs to hit the gym in a bad way. She certainly isn’t getting the “maximum curve of the body.” She needs to do some squats so she doesn’t look like Miley Cyrus.

    French is awesome!!!

I don’t like her face and it’s not because she is Viet. I just don’t like her features…at all.
Her body is great. Her look has an 80′s vibe to it.

There are beautiful women and ugly women in all different ethnic groups.

OMGosh!!!…wylde8 just about ruined it for me with the miley comment. Went for a walk and I’m ok now. :)

Did your libido cop a hit with a wrecking ball Arf?

@taipan: You really described this well. When I see Cambodian or even Thai women, they just do NOT have the curves that the Vietnamese do- even if those curves are just so slight.

The comment about the jeans and shorts is right on. One thing I like about walking in Vietnam is that women wear very tight clothing.

Of course, the downside is that if a Viet gal eats an American diet of junkfood, those curves can get out of hand- literally.

And thankfully, the presence of American fast food chains is very minimal at this time in Vietnam! Yes, the young (and not so young) women do wear tight clothing, but not so provocatively as in the West. There is still a conservatism in their dress sense which I appreciate. And of course, there’s no need to re-visit the topic of how they look when wearing an ao dai… :-)
