Wu Yanni

Another Olympics comes to a close.

Some of the ‘sports’ were iffy, like Olympic breakdancing. Maybe next time we’ll have Olympic Hacky sack or Mumblety-peg. One can hope. Those, in our opinion, missteps didn’t stop a feast for the eyes for those who stuck it out. There was a sea of beautiful firm, muscular, legs and buttocks to behold.

When there was a problem, it usually began from the sternum on up. That’s not the case with today’s Olympic representative, Wu Yanni.

China’s top 10m hurdler, the 5’9″ (175cm) athlete was a feast for the eyes when it came to looks, but perhaps not for her on track accomplishments, where she seems to false start quite a bit. Wu (born 1997/7/28), although being labeled “China’s athletics goddess”, didn’t live up to the billing in Paris, where she failed to reach the semis, getting smoked, and had to run in the Repechage for a chance to move on. Unfortunately, she came in 4th place in her extra chance but looked damn good doing it.

She’s something of a lightning rod, being criticized on Chinese social networks for wearing makeup, necklaces, manicures, fake eyelashes, tattoos and jewelry. Her home country athletics fans seem to prefer a more austere look in their athletes, saying she likes to wear overly sexy outfits and is just trying to draw attention to herself to increase her commercial appeal, without really trying to improve on the track. That could be at least partly true and, at an advancing sports age, we wouldn’t blame her.

There are numerous other Olympic sirens out there, so if anyone has suggestions please register them—with a caveat. We don’t want to spend a ton of time digging on subjects who have little presence on the web. If you do suggest, please give us some info and/or links.

Olympic update!

Those abs! I’d love to do some belly shots with her.

If she was good at her sport with her looks she’d be a superstar.

My main problem with this siren is I wouldn’t be able to catch her.
