Korean Celebs' Tragic Endings
As some of you may already know, early this month, top Korean actress Choi Jin-sil (above) committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Seoul. She was 39. It was reported that she had suffered from depression since her 2002 separation, and messy divorce two years later, from her pro baseball player husband and was upset by recent rumors (she claimed were false) that she had loaned a large sum of money to an actor friend and was pressuring him to pay it back, which was a reason he committed suicide in early September. I suppose the alcohol she had to drink that evening also helped with her decision to take her own life.
Although Jin-sil's death shocked many, it wasn't the first time a high-profile female Korean entertainer has committed suicide in recent years. More...

Why can't viewers see more of the Olympic cheerleaders?
Verbatim from Yahoo!sports:
One of the most popular sports at the 2004 Games did not give medals out to its participants. Admiring Olympic cheerleaders became a favorite pastime for many who attended the Athens Games, and the cheerleaders' popularity led the Beijing Olympic Committee to put together their own cheerleading squads (photo gallery here).

Asian Sirens is always looking for serious bloggers
As regular readers will know, I haven’t been posting much for the past few weeks. I just thought I’d give a bit of an update so nobody thinks that I’ve given up on blogging. But due to a busy schedule I just can't find the time to post as much as I used to do. I am hoping to have some more spare time by the end of August.
Furthermore, we've had a bit of a discussion about the 'short posts' we've had lately and the fact that sometimes there was no model name in the post. As much as we like to give more information than just a photo of a good looking girl, these posts are easiest to make and we want to give you something to discuss about. And in my opinion it's better to have something than nothing. (Feel free to comment on this below this entry.)
Of course we are always looking for people to join our blogteam! So, do you think you can come up with some good stuff to post? Then fill out this form and let us know why we should let you blog for us.

Asian Sirens To Close Down
Well it seems we just can't get most of our bloggers to do any new posts for us any more - and quite frankly I'm sick to death of fighting off hackers and constantly policing the comments - so we've made the difficult decision to close Asian Sirens down. We sincerely apologise to all the people who continue to enjoy and make positive contributions to this site, but keeping this place running has just become too much hard work for us. More...

Edison Chen Photo Scandal Breaking News
Although we have already done an article on the Edison Chen photo scandal, there have been so many major developments in this story that I thought it was worth doing a quick follow-up (and I'm sure there will be more to come!).
First of all, it appears as though Edison Chen isn't the only guy in these photos; a few people who have examined the photos carefully have determined that there at least a few different penises in the photos released to date! Even more interestingly, the person who released the photos apparently has a lot more of them, which supposedly reveal some very important people in the Hong Kong film industry in some very compromising positions!
