Miss Song Hotel Video (Complete and uncensored)

Very recent Korean entertainment headlines regarding the leaked video of a certain A-list actress' intimate activities with a not-as-well-known female colleague last month, have had thousands of netizens searching the file sharing site it was reported to have been uploaded to. Even though the site removed it just three hours after it had been uploaded to their servers, under the threat of criminal prosecution, I was fortunate enough to obtain the complete and uncensored (no blurred-out faces here) video file through a friend of a friend (and 'nuff said about that).

I'm not stating the actress' full name, not that it would matter if I did, because regular readers of this site will instantly recognize the face ....and the name will now surely become synonymous with the unique (and quite remarkable) act she and her lovely partner perform in this video.

(Note: I've uploaded this video to a site known for having loose hosting guidelines that allow quite a bit of latitude regarding content and I have no intention of removing it, but due to the legal issues that I anticipate will ensue, I can't say how long this will remain up once it "hits the fan.")

EDIT: It hit the fan in a big way and the above video was yanked by probably the only host risking to host it, after they received several threats of criminal prosecution.

Saturday Night Live's Only Asian Female Host Ever

As an avid Saturday Night Live fan, I'm a pretty good authority as to who the more memorable (and forgettable) cast members have been and which hosts and musical guests have shined (and stunk) over the years. After watching the show the other night (and dubbing Cecily Strong the hottest female SNL cast member ever), I did some research and, just as I thought; in SNL's 38-year history, the show has never had an Asian cast member and has had only one Asian female host, who was Lucy Liu, over a decade ago.

Above is Lucy's opening monolog from her December 16th, 2000 appearance as host. Since she was the first Asian female to ever host SNL, it wasn't surprising that she capitalized on that fact by using some Asian stereotypes to bring out the laughs.

Soo Yeon Lee is "Ravenous"

This recent Target commercial for Nature Made prenatal vitamins is entitled "Ravenous" and features actress, model and world class table tennis player, Soo Yeon Lee, who's been featured here before. However, what hasn't been featured here before, is a portrayal of a pregnant girl. I say "portrayal" because Soo Yeon is just playing a pregnant girl, who's in a frenzy to satisfy her hunger cravings .... or just to make a mess in her kitchen. Asian Little Red Riding Hood, Erin Tjoe

I don't know why the ad department at Motorola cast an Asian girl as Little Red Riding Hood for their new Droid RAZR M commercial, but Erin Tjoe makes a great one as she shows how she uses hers to avoid the Big Bad Wolf. Jang Ja-yeon's Last Sex Scene

As sort of a long-belated follow-up to my piece on Korean female celeb suicides, I wrote an interestingly morbid piece earlier this year on some of those ladies' "lasts." Included in that one is the above two-part scene the late Jang Ja-yeon did for the 2009 movie Searching for the Elephant (aka Penthouse Elephant). It was her last (and actually only) movie sex scene. Jang never got to see the film's release or the the release of the only other film she appeared in, They Are Coming, as they both came out after her March 2009 suicide.

Emily Chang for Ruffles Ultimate

This 30-second spot featuring actress Emily Chang (not to be confused with the journalist or web designer of the same name) as a quick-to-catch-on poker player, has been running on network TV in the US for the last several months. Emily is no newcomer to acting, with many credits and a New York regional Emmy Award under her belt, but this commercial seems to be on its way to achieving a sort of cult status and becoming what she's best-known for. So far, anyway. Oh, for the US readers who are no doubt familiar with this ad; Happy Thanksgiving!
