They are nice I must admit, but overall she is way too thick for my taste. Huge waist. Size doesn't really matter to me, although with her they are at least proportionate, unlike so many ludicrously outsized products of science and technology. Not my image of a desirable petite A-S.

I think you have to consider the photo as well before labelling her as "thick". She's not in a true "modelesque" pose - her kneeling like that is gonna make her thighs look larger from head on, plus she's all oiled up in bright light so she's also gonna appear a little bigger in a photo.

She's definitely not rail thin, but she's on the thin side of average...but far from "thick".

This picture has a throwback feel to it. Its similar to the pinup styles of the 40's and 50's to me. That being said, they liked them thicker back then, so this one has too much cushion for me.

I like seeing photos like this as much as everyone else here does, but if it's just a random photo of an unnamed, sexy, nude Asian girl just for the sake of there being a photo of a sexy, nude Asian girl....then what's to set us apart from all the other zillions of sites and blogs on the net that feature photos of unnamed, sexy, nude Asian girls just because they're....well, sexy nude Asian girls?

I'm of the opinion that it's our duty as contributors to do research on these models, actress, singers, whatever, before presenting them to our readers.

Sure, these kinds of post are great once in awhile, but there just seems to be too mant of them lately, and I KNOW.... I could post more often and I'll try to....but I think quality (meaning a well-researched entry) is better than quantity.

Guys.....I'm very busy with my business and I don't always have time to do research and write long postings.

There have been very few postings lately so I've been doing these quickie ones to keep the site going. I thought that would be appreciated, but I guess not.

I think my quickie postings are enjoyed by most viewers of the site. And I also think most viewers of the site would rather have something new to see everyday rather than a stagnant Asian-Sirens home page for 3 or 4 days.

Lee, rather than complain about my short postings, why don't you post more often when you can see others arent?

I just don't have time to post myself these days anymore - I'm too busy moderating and (most importantly) fighting off hackers.

On the other hand though, maybe we should make more room for this kind of thing - the readers seem to like at least. That's why I asked Robin for his input: perhaps we should change our policy on this kind of post, especially as Robin no longer seems to be able to keep the posts coming as he did before. NorthMan, I very much appreciate what you're trying to do by "filling in the gaps" with these kinds of posts and I don't want you to think I was picking on you, because you have posted some very well-researched entries on some beautiful ladies.

I just feel that there have been too many nameless girls featured here lately and it's partly my fault for only posting once a month and leaving these gaps that makes other contributors feel they need to fill.

I'm too busy with a lot of other things (as I'm sure all the AS contributors are) to always research a new girl to be featured here, but I'll definitely make an effort to make my entries more frequent from now on.

I have absolutely no problem with short posts, and it's thanks to Northman that Asian Sirens is still alive! Let's be thankful for that. Hell, I even encouraged him to post these shorties in my absence!

It is clear that Marco can't post anymore, Lee can't post anymore (well, he never did post a lot), I have some things going on (that will hopefully be over at the end of august), and our other bloggers just don't post enough to keep the site alive.

So, keep them coming Northman! Hopefully I can find the spirit and time to post longer posts in a little while, but if that doesn't happen anytime soon I see two options: close down the site, or enjoy the 'shorties'.

@Lee, have to agree with Robin. As many of us bloggers have hardly time to post anymore, we have to be thankfull to people like Northman. Even more, sometimes a short posting is even better than a long posting as it triggers people to comment.

And on-topic, the picture of this girl on the beach reminds me on the Rubenesque's women that are becoming more popular these days (check for example the commercials of Dove).

There has not been a formal change of AS policy, so there was nothing to inform you about.

The statistics show that the short posts are working just as well as the long ones.

I think frequent posts are more important than long ones. When you have a lot of posts you can start to shift, but this post is as welcome as any other. Kudos to NorthMan!

We didn't close any accounts ourselves for this reason, but I know of at least one blogger (kanyer) who left because he kept on doing quickie posts, and we all kept asking him to put real info in them.

I just want to say that I appreciate both the "shorties" and the well researched posts. That said, clearly the more researched the more intriguing - but I understand the tremendous effort it must take to dig up pertinent information on models.

It is a bit frustrating in some cases when I see a model posted and she is anonymous. One of the reasons I come to this site so often is the many thoughtful responses and the hope that someone will identify these models in the thread at some point (it's happened many times).

Anyway, just wanted to say that I appreciate everyone's dedication to this site. And yes, while I prefer more detailed posts, I definitely would rather have more activity on this site than less.

It would make sense were it taken in the 70's, because in Japan at the time it was forbidden to show pubic hair, which has either been removed through some photographic or real-life process. She looks to be in her 30's, placing the photo as taken in the 80's.

Actually, I always thought this photo looked it was from the 80s - the makeup, the hairstyle etc. So that makes sense to me.

As for NorthMan, like Badboy he always was a bit sensitive. Still, negative comments are very much part of what a free flowing blog is about - I have to tolerate a lot of negative comments about Sachiko here, and Sachiko herself has to tolerate them too.

This is a *good* site, I watched once in disappointment when the first incarnation closed. I am pround to be a part of this 2nd generation of AS; so let's keep it going ladies and gentlemen.

As I have communicated to Robin, I will be returning next week from my 'sabatical'. :) I plan on posting at least weekly.

As some of you know I have been working on a book that is now with the publisher for final editing - it will be out soon. In addition, I am now also a sex columnist for Asia Times (see: www.atimes.com) Unfortunately the columns I write for them are rarely 'fun' or just entertainment pieces, but rather are news items and often it is stuff that AS readers certainly wouldn't want - such as this weeks column on child pornography in Asia, not fun at all.

I hope NorthMan comes back as well. I've always appreciated his work. I know the short articles are discouraged here but it's better than going a week or so without nothing because people are still going to pick and choose what they want to read and comment on and probably die one it reaches page 2. And that's what was happening as of late.

Writing an article is not easy and takes time. Plus there isn't much going on these days to write about. So with that in mind and with the other bloggers being too busy to post an article, I don't mind seeing a post on anonymous boobs. It's better than nothing or waiting around a week or so for a post that may offer more information.

Hopefully with the addition of some new bloggers things will change, but I'm just one of those readers who would just like to see something rather than nothing since I'm going to pick and choose what I want to read about or comment on. And for the new people who have decided to blog for AS, then you have to be prepared for and to be able to handle the negative comments and criticisms that will come on article that you may have spent alot of time on preparing, especially from those who don't have anything more to offer besides comments like "she's ugly." So good luck.

Apparently the 70's-80's thing is correct, based on the second image, which looks like a scan of a magazine article about big boobs in that era. Unfortunately, my Japanese is almost nonexistent any more (displaced in my brain by Chinese), so I can't read much of it.
