Vanessa-Mae
Although not an official model, violinist Vanessa-Mae certainly has model looks! She was born in Singapore in 1978 and has the British nationality. Her mother is Chinese, her father Thai. This is probably slightly OT for AS, but I'd really like to make a point of what a great musician Vanessa-Mae is - her version of the much-recorded Four Seasons is actually my favourite on record! She is also a fantastic live preformer - definitely one of the best concerts I've ever attended.

Lee, I'm going to look for her Four Seasons CD. I'd love to hear her version of that piece...it's a fav of mine too. :-)
It's a little different (as you would expect), but her playing is a lot more expressive than other classsical musicians who just try to slavishly reproduce the piece. I'm sure you'll love it! ;-)
