Naked News Korea
Toronto-based Naked News (whose Asian anchors have been featured here and here) has branched out even further by recently launching its Korean affiliate. The announcement was made at a press conference in Seoul earlier this month (above).
However, Naked News Korea won't really be naked. They will have two versions; an "adult" version, where the anchors will just be topless, and a (no kidding) "teen" version, where the anchors will be clad in bikinis and lingerie. Users will have to log in to the site using their Korean national ID numbers, which is how their age will be determined.
The Korean Naked Newscasting team will be comprised of nine beautiful anchors, ages 22-27 (actual ages, not "Korean ages"), who, like all their Naked News counterparts in other countries, will deliver all the top regional and international news stories with dedicated professionalism....while they're disrobing. Of course and unfortunately, unlike their counterparts in other countries, the Korean anchors will only strip to a certain point.

wylde8: Korean laws are incredibly strict. Even in adult films, nothing besides top is shown. (Underground / amateur stuff is different, but that's because it's not commercial)
Now the news can't be boring with these ladies. ;)

I like this idea of signing in with your national ID. It wouldn't only ensure that underage people can't view something but can you imagine how much better the internet would be if people had to have their real name listed before leaving a stupid comment? Of course it's open to abuse but interesting non the less.
so how do us non-koreans get to view this?
When I first glanced at this article, I thought it said Naked News NORTH Korea, which was really a shock.

bicyclistjs88: Right now we can't, we'll have to wait until some Koreans start to upload it to various 'sharing' sites. Koreans are good at that so it shouldn't take too long.
AlienOverlord, what about having your name on a list of porn lovers? There are better ways (like a credit card), instead of trusting the government with your sexual preferences.

As far as sites go, I know some that might end up having them, but they're private, invite only Korean sites. I'll help you get in if I ever find the videos though.

Very disappointing about the lack of actual nakedness.
Naked News Korea is under review by a standards board for sexual content, including an episode talking about female orgasms:

But, there are dozens of more sexual programs regularly on Korean TV, so I wonder if this is just an attack on a foreign import?
I wasn't surprised to hear this. Check their site and you'll see there are now only five anchors featured.
