Asiance Magazine

Just got an email from the staff of a new glossy magazine for Asian American Women: Asiance Magazine. The magazine caters to the glamorous, aspirational, 18-34 year old, English-speaking generation Asian American women defying boundaries & upbringings while pursuing careers & ideals not initially deemed respectable by the Asian Community.

Nice PR-talk but is the magazine also worth a visit? Well, I just browsed through the different pages and I must say there are a lot of Asian beauties featured (e.g. Audrey Quock, Bai Ling and Maggie Cheung) so I would say, just have a look yourself!

OW. New magazine?

Found this magazine (OW/Oriental Women) on the shelves yesterday. Did not look into it, because I was in a hurry, so I took a quick photo. Could not find any info on the web. Does anybody know if this magazine has been around for long? And why can't I find a website?

Found this issue of TIME magazine last week. It is the January edition and features a special about the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. I guess you won't be able to buy this one anymore, but just wanted to let you know TIME sometimes has Asian beauty on the cover ;-)

Today my buddy Dan sent me this Girls Next Door voting page from FHM magazine's Filipino website. Since Asian-Sirens was due for an update, I thought I would pass this on. Magazine ID request

My last posting made me unsure about a magazine I bought in Hong Kong, called AKASI - For Your Eyes Only. The dude that sold it to me said it was a Chinese magazine. But now I think it could be Japanese... I am not sure anymore. Who can identify the characters and help me out with the languague here? :-\

What happened to Hustler's Asian Girls?

A few years back, Hustler (Netherlands) launched a special series of their magazine, called 'Asian Girls'. I bought one, and was somewhat disappointed. It was a rather sleazy mix between Penthouse and porn. But still, it was a nice initiative. Only a couple of issue's appeared, before the magazine died a quiet death. Too bad.

Does anyone know if there are any classy, erotic magazines (outside Asia) dedicated solely to Asian Girls? More...
