urfame @ flickr.com

(photo removed on request of urfame, see comments)

Urfame are a group of models from the Philippines who believe in group communication and whose photographic projects are self contained. They photograph each other, do their own hairstyles and make-up applications. They use the principle of group consensus to decide what kinds of photographic styles they use and strive to represent the aesthetic visual fulfillment of the concept of naturalness.

What a great concept! Read all about it here, or skip the blabla and look at hundreds of photos of great looking girls! They also opened a blog.

Linda @ Flickr.com

Linda @ Flickr.com

I have mentioned 'potatoes' flickr page before on Asian-Sirens, but by accident I landed there again. And this time I spotted beautiful Linda. There are some great shots in the set, but unfortunately little info about the model. So we'll just have to enjoy the photos then.

I love flickr.com

I just love flickr.com. There are so many great groups. Asian Girls, Asian Beauty, Asian Idols & Models, Sexy Asian Women, Asian Cuties, Hot Japanese girls, Girls of Japan, Eastern Beauty, Beautiful Almond Eyes and many more. Use the Group search page and see what else is out there. I can spend hours browsing through the great (and also not so great ;-)) photos.

I just found another group: Portraits of Japanese Women.

Chinese Body Art 101

asian nude body art

Today I typed in "Human Body Art" in Chinese (人体艺术 for those of you who can see the characters. My apologies to those of you who cannot.) into several search engines here and maxed out my two gigabytes of RAM pretty fast with open windows.

Body art is usually a euphemism used here for erotica so it can slip by the censors and into mainstream bookstores and onto Internet sites. And am I ever glad that the authorities seem to like this photography as much as I do. I found one great cache of hundreds of pictures at Nphoto.net.

I located several artists and models I really appreciated and hope to be able to share with you in posts to come like chjilin above and More...

Lucky Dragon

asian artistic nude

I don't know much about art, but I know what I like: it is craftmanship like that in the picture above by Chinese photographer Yang, Huiguang and others featured at China's cphoto.net. It is a premier site for established and respected shutter junkies in the Middle Kingdom. I will be mining this site for you because there is something there for every taste by hundreds of photographic chefs.

The Chinese Dragon is often thought of as a symbol of the Chinese race itself. Chinese around the world, often speak of themselves as "Descendents of the Dragon". Dragons aren't slain by white knights in China because they are considered divine, mythical creatures that bring prosperity and good luck.

It seems to me that the dragon in the pic' has all the luck--and the damsel doesn't look too distressed. More...

Asian Soccerbabes!

Soccerbabes

On flickrbabes.com I found this great series by Steven Young (although I am not sure Steven actually is the photographer, he may just be placing ad-campaigns!), a team of gorgeous Asian women playing soccer. And the photography/artwork is just stunning! I hope the photographer doesn't mind me placing (almost) the whole set in More, because Flickr seems to be offline a lot lately ('having a massage' as they prefer to call it ;-)) and I wouldn't want you to miss this! I should recommend of course that you visit Steven Young's flickr pages and enjoy all of the great photo's. There is a lot more there!

Ohw, can anyone stranslate the Chinese (or Japanese?) text on the photo's? Maybe it will shed some light on this photoshoot.

UPDATE: These photo's bacame very hot in just a few days! Numerous blogs mentioned them but according to Santini it all started here on this Chinese Esquire blog. More...

Kialy @ flickr.com

Kialy @ flickr.com

Okay, I admit, I am a flickr addict. So after my previous post about Peter Klashort, I now present to you Kialy. She is a Chinese girl from France who tries to find different ways to express herself. Photography is one of these. She hasn't got a bunch of models, so she works with herself. Well, we don't mind, do we? ;-) Check out her self-portraits.

Peter Klashorst @ flickr.com

Peter Klashorst @ flickr.com

Dutch painter Peter Klashorst used to travel (and live) in Africa and make nude paintings of all the girls he met there. He became intimite with quite a few also ;-) He had a real reputation for taking big risks in that department. The 'delicate muslim' situation there did not allow him to continue his 'Artwork' (he was even imprisoned once and escaped!). So now he recides in Thailand. And he is taking pictures also this time. Check out his girls at his flickr account. He also has a blog. More nude pictures there.
