Asian Sirens Honored By Tiara Lestari

[A Message For Our Indonesian Friends (in Indonesian)]

Just a quick post to mention that Asian Sirens has been honored by no less than Tiara Lestari in a recent entry in her personal journal. You may be surprised to learn how often models object to us posting about them here, telling us we're infringing on their copyrights or whatever. Tiara on the other hand recognises the value of the free publicity we've given her, and for that we salute you Tiara! It's also nice to get a personal dedication. ;-)

On another, less positive note, Tiara has just had her first impersonator. See her blog entry for more information. Apparently the imposter only speaks Indonesian, so this is a chance for our Indonesian friends to show Tiara your support!

UPDATE: I've updated the pic for this article in honor of Tiara's birthday today (the 10th of October) - this is definitely my favourite pic of her so far!

Magazine covers in Asia

For those of you living in Asia, beautiful Asian models on the covers of magazines is nothing new. But for those of us living in Western countries, seeing all these beauties on the shelves can be somewhat disturbing sometimes! So when I had to wait at Hanoi International Airport in Vietnam, I could no longer resist, and bought a couple of magazines.

I am having a really hard time reading them ;-), but the photo's and covers are great! On this issue of fashion magazine 'MOT', model Bang Lang is showing some nice moves. There are many more models inside, which I may show you in the future...

I found this strange video titled 'Shake it off' at BulletinBoardForum.com. Some Asian model being covered (all movie long!) with a fluid that vaguely resembles some other substance (but it isn't ;-)). Thought you might like it. Amy Nguyen - Naked Sushi Girl

Amy Nguyen of xoxoamy.com was the featured naked sushi girl at the grand opening of Cafe Japone on the night of October 1st. For those not familiar with this practice which originated in Japan, people basically picked up the sushi off of her with their chopsticks and ate it. In some cases, the girls are fully nude but it is probably not legal in the US especially when alcohol is served.

Amy Yip

As there's been a lot of discussion here recently about Hong Kong actresses and cinema, I thought I should do a post on the most famous erotic HK actress of all: Amy Yip. Tugboat Design

In my search for Asian design I found this series of posters by Tugboat for Otsuka Pharmaceuticals 'Calorie Mate'. (source: Japanese Graphics Now! by Taschen) There were also some men, but decided to leave them out ;-) I have no idea who the models are, but one in particular I found very beautiful.

I could not find anything about the design company, but I did find this article about the founder of the agency, Yasumichi Oka. Tugboat seems to be one of Japan's most-sought-after and -award-laden shops, with a client list that includes Kirin Beverage, East Japan Railway Co. and TV network tbs.

Ex pornstar Tabatha Cash; half Asian or half African?
