10 Questions for Photographer Ed Morawski

When I wrote about new model Ange Maya recently, I was not only impressed with her fantastic body and astonishing hair, but I was also impressed with a lot of her costumes and the artistic quality of many of her photos. Well it turns out that many of her best photos were taken by Ed Morawski, who not only shares my interests in photography and beautiful women but also high end hi-fi as well (he shot Ange for his Olympic Audio ads). We're also both fans of the music of Loreena McKennitt. So as he's photographed several other Asian models as well (as you can see in his gallery), it only seemed natural that I should interview him for our "10 questions for" series. More...

Asian Soccerbabes!

On flickrbabes.com I found this great series by Steven Young (although I am not sure Steven actually is the photographer, he may just be placing ad-campaigns!), a team of gorgeous Asian women playing soccer. And the photography/artwork is just stunning! I hope the photographer doesn't mind me placing (almost) the whole set in More, because Flickr seems to be offline a lot lately ('having a massage' as they prefer to call it ;-)) and I wouldn't want you to miss this! I should recommend of course that you visit Steven Young's flickr pages and enjoy all of the great photo's. There is a lot more there!

Ohw, can anyone stranslate the Chinese (or Japanese?) text on the photo's? Maybe it will shed some light on this photoshoot.

I have always been a big fan of quality body art and well crafted tattoos. The Chinese site Buee has a fine showing of beautifully painted women. And there is also a series of photos showing how the work is done in stages. Bio's for the girls are in Chinese, but the measurements are easy to read.

I have had the pleasure of seeing some startling body canvasses in Japan and Hong Kong. And my only regret is that I can't do much more than stick figures (Please tell me there a school you can go to for this!) so, I can only happily admire the artistry: More...

36% of Americans 18 to 29 are tattooed

Over the past years we've discussed many Asian models that are tattooed. But if you think it's something just for soldiers, sailors, bikers, and models than you're wrong. According to a recent study published in Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology about 36 percent of Americans age 18 to 29 and more than 24 percent of Americans between 18 and 50 have at least one tattoo.

Francine Dee an update!

The first well known pictures of Francine Dee (aka Djhoanna Dee, Holly, Chase, Joy), were taken about 10 years ago - possibly still in highschool. She made the cover of Oriental Dolls and quickly became the buzz in the school halls. At that time, Francine already had her breasts enhanced and was sporting blonde hair. Now 10 years later at the age of almost 28, Francine has long, soft, black-brown hair and is on her 6th enhancement (?).
