Tommy Bolin 1951-1976. He was a great American guitarist known for playing in the groups James Gang and Deep Purple. But I prefer to listen to his solo work. He presumeably OD’d, but many seem to believe he was the victim of foul play.

When I was a teen growing up, my friend down the street had a father who worked for Columbia records and I discovered one day that he would keep all of his over stock samples vynil records under the house .. my friend said I could take anything and as much as I can carry.

An album by the Ozark Mountain Daredevils was one I picked up that day. This track was not on that particular album, but was probably their biggest hit, and was top 10 here.
