    Ai Saotome (早乙女愛) was a Japanese actress. She made her film debut in 1974 in the lead role in the first film adaptation of Ikki Kajiwara’s “Ai to Makoto” manga.

    In 1983, she starred in Nikkatsu’s Roman porno film, “Meneko”. Later she played several villain roles in film and television. She retired from acting in the late 90s to raise her family, and moved to Seattle in 2002.

    She passed away in July 20 2010 at a hospital in Seattle, Washington, from multiple organ failure. She was 51.
