Narchaeva Shirin is a social media influencer.

She is also a notorious Kazakh bad girl, who may or may not have been arrested at one point for offending public decency in Kazakhstan. She’s been on and off social media, and from what I’ve been able to Google translate has camps of both advocates and detractors. Some love her free style and willingness to push on social norms. Seems the thing that got her in hot water recently was posing wearing traditional headgear and Kazakh jewelry with nothing else covering her but her hands. This prompted a Kazakh lawyer to attempt to file suit against her despite there being no laws against her actions. When that failed, she again caused outrage by wiping her eyes and blowing her nose on Kazakh currency (1 Kazakhstani Tenge equals 0.0024 United States Dollars or 0.0018 Pounds sterling as of this writing).

While she may not be everyone’s cup of tea, she was quoted last year as saying “Think light and erotic, act pornographic hard”. I think we can all agree with her sentiment.
