Megan has the distinction of being the first American-born Filipina to win the Miss World title.
That was back in 2013. Megan was born in Alexandria, Virginia to a military father with numerous European bloodlines and a straight-up Filipina mom. The family moved back to the Philippines when she was 10, and not long after she started on the road to a modeling, acting and TV hosting career. She’s drop dead gorgeous.

Intent is important here: the problem with a lot of the comments about implants is that they often amount to personal insults e.g. “why are so many girls stupid enough to get implants”—as opposed to something like “I’d personally prefer her without implants”, which would be fine. When we’re on a site that targets women based on their ethnicity, we are making a statement of preference on a woman’s looks based on their ethnicity, rather than actually being racist. I agree the line can be difficult to draw though, and I’ve had reason to call gunnar out on this before—I agree his comments are borderline, if not truly racist.

To be honest I’ve been too busy to keep a close eye on the comments recently, but looking at gunnar’s recent history I agree there is a pattern that crosses the line into racism, and he’s been pushing the boundaries for quite a while now. As such, I have finally decided to ban him.
