Nine Muses are a K–pop group that takes its name from the Muses of Greek mythology.
Created in 2010, Nine Muses has seen members come and go and that has caused some problems. When the first couple of girls left the name was going to be changed to “Sweet Candy”, because it was thought it might be confusing for the group to have only 7 members. A few months later it was announced the name wouldn’t change as they would be adding a couple of new girls. Then a couple of other girls left the group and a 4 member sub-unit called “Nine Muses A” began making appearances.
Currently the group has the 5 members listed in this post, all born between 1989 and 1992, who will be touring beginning the latter part of June, although Sungah will be taking time off to work as a DJ. The second gallery in the links has some past members who, I think, are even better looking than most of the present members. Who knew K-pop could be so complicated?
