Hanako Asada

Hanako Asada is a singer, talento, and former idol.

Born Manabe Hanako, singer, actress and model Hanako Asad got in her first break in 1987 when she nabbed the Grand Prix for the 2^nd annual Touhou All Raisin Princess Contest (whatever that is). In ’88 she had success with the theme song from an anime movie, Urutsei Yatsura, which apparently was pretty popular. In ’91, under name Kimoto Ayaka, she began appearing in movies. In ’94, under name of Murakami Rio, she released her first nude photobook, and in ’96, under her original stage name Hanako Asada, she released her second photobook. In 1999 she joined the dance/vocal group Trinity under the name MOCA, but has since retired.
