Abby Asistio

Today I have something a bit different and a little self indulgent: singer and spokesperson from the Philippines, the beautiful Abby Asistio.

The video above is Abby telling the story of her life with Alopecia areata—it’s funny, heart breaking, revealing and honest. It is also a condition that I have been afflicted with over the last two years, so I am a little biased.

Abby is beautiful and talented. Her singing career was quite successful before her big reveal, but she seems to have gone from strength to strength after shedding (pardon the pun) the burden of her secret. I also think that she is quite stunning as a bald lady, a fetish that’s one of the few things that’s been growing on me lately. :)

Abby now spreads the word about Alopecia as well as continuing her music career and you can follow her on her website, Facebook, tumblr and Twitter. Abby’s a true Asian Siren in my book!

She does indeed look good bald—indeed, I think she may even look better that way (certainly more striking anyway). As I’ve said to Luke previously, at least you don’t have to worry about shaving, haircuts, brushing/combing etc. :)

I love running my fingers through women’s hair – for hours. Abby, even without hair, is still a beautiful woman. The lack of hair gives her, for me, an almost otherworldly beauty and that’s not considering the inner beauty she seems to project.

I hope she’s bald down there too :)

To successfully pull off the bald look (IMO) you have to have a great face and a nice uniform head. Fortunately Abby has both. I actually think she looks very sweet bald.
