Kō Shibasaki 柴咲 コウ

Kō Shibasaki was brought to our attention by O’Grady, but has credits dating back as far as 1998.

Born Yukie Yamamura, she changed her name and began a singing and acting career which drew acclaim with her role in Mitsuko Souma’s Battle Royale. She is a part of music groups Koh+ and Galaxias!, but is probably best known by many here for her role opposite Keanu Reeves in 47 Ronin. Keanu has stunk up the big screen regularly between some really good films, but Kō definitely helps put this one towards the better end of his work.

    she has interesting looks and i remember her from battle royale… she was the hot chick..
