Sadako Yamamura Emerges
This scene from end of the 1998 Japanese horror film Ring (aka Ringu, which is just the Japanese romanization of "Ring"), has been edited to show only Sadako Yamamura emerging from the well and right through the television screen. The odd shots of the male viewer watching it and dying of cardiac arrest have been cut out. If you want to see the face that he saw hidden behind that long, black hair, and feel you can handle it, see it after the jump ....but brace yourself. More...

The Invisible Maniac's Only Asian Victim
Here's Betty, played by America's only Asian Scream Queen icon, Debra Lamb, meeting her demise in the 1990 comedy-horror film, The Invisible Maniac. For just about everything you'd like to know about Debra, see my June 2011 interview with her.

Eva Watanabe - Jason's Only Asian Female Victim
Serial killer Jason Voorhees isn't a discriminating slayer, but to date, his only Asian female victim has been Eva Watanabe (played by a then-unknown Kelly Hu and first featured here), in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989). As you can see, Eva's death sure wasn't merciful, but at least it was "splatter-free."

The Girls of Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead
As I've stated before; when it comes to horror flicks with film school production, cheesy, blood-spurting gore effects, laughable scripts, and casts full of former and/or current AV and gravure idols, the Japanese are second to none. And as this is the Halloween season, it's time to feature another one of these gems from Japan that contains most of the above. (I say most because none of the girls in this one is a JAV alumna.)
Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead, has exactly what you'd expect it to have with a title like that, as evident by the film's official website. However, since this site is only about beautiful Asian women, its female cast members are the focus here and I'll leave the splatter descriptions and toilet humor for a future review at another site. Featured on the above poster is Arisa Nakamura, who plays the film's heroine, Megumi. More...

Chanty Sok is an actress that plays a very small role in the new movie Ted. I have no idea what her career will look like after that movie, but any time you're in a movie there's a chance you become famous. Now with something like 20,000 views on this website - BOOM. Famous.
As I've said before, I prefer to keep negative talk about non-models to a minimum. I don't know if that counts for actresses as well, but I feel it should. Dr. Lee is welcome to disagree.
Note from the Doc: I am of the opinion that non-models should not be held to the same standard as models when judged purely on looks, so even though the same basic rules apply to all posts here, I am somewhat in agreement with Travis. More...

Arika Sato is a model and television personality that has been on a few reality shows. She has an official website which you can find here and her own wikipedia entry which you can find here. She also has a Facebook and an interview. I'm sharing them all here because I'm tired of putting the link section at the bottom.

Namfon Patcharin is a Thai actress with a nice smile. She stars in Thai dramas, but I think she's more famous for who she's dating at any given time because almost all of her pictures she's with a man. I could have explored that further, but then I'd have to look at pictures of men, and that wasn't going to happen.

Mary Ly is a very petite Hmong model turned actress, and personally a great example of the beauty of Hmong women. Few Hmong women that look like this turn to modeling, and it's often the less beautiful ones that get tricked into it - perhaps for self-esteem reasons. Mary Ly, however, is very attractive, and hopefully she and all Hmong women will gain more notoriety through this site.

Lan Yan - Leni Lan (Mainland Sirens 31)
What an interesting lady this one is. Lani Lan, or Crazybarbie as she is sometimes called (yes, Crazybarbie, I didn't make that up), is a Shanghai born actress most famous for her appearance in the 2011 movie "Sex And Zen: Extreme Ecstasy". She does the pale and elegant look; not so popular in the West, but goes down quite well in China. However even those not into that look will have to admit, Leni Lan isn't too shabby looking. More...

Shay Mitchell is a model and actress from Canada, who was brought to my attention by one of our readers who suggested her to be featured.
Shay began her career as a model before becoming an actor, and currently stars in the ABC Family teen drama/thriller Pretty Little Liars, which will begin filming its third season in April. It looks like we have another amazing half-Asian beauty to discuss.
