Vaya @ Blue Nudes

Vaya @ Blue Nudes (Photographer: Ben Heys)

Just recently I learned via Bluenudes about the work of Ben Heys, a photographer from Brisbane, Australia. Definitely one of the most interesting models he used to work with is Vaya.

Who knows more about Vaya?

Aiko Tanaka announces she is looking for a husband!

Aiko Tanaka

Aiko Tanaka announced on a recent Howard Stern show that she is looking for a husband. According to marksfriggin.com:

"She said she has about a year left to live in the U.S. before they kick her out of the country, back to Tokyo. She said she's looking for someone to fall in love with. She's looking for someone who is funny..."

This announcment seems to have driven a lot of traffic to Aiko's website aikoaiko.net (which is no longer a paysite) since it comes up with an error bandwidth exceeded. Here is another photo (fully nude):

Gong Li hottest women of 30-something

Gong Li hottest women of 30-something

Jessica Biel has been proclaimed the sexiest woman alive by Esquire magazine, following last year's honoree, Angelina Jolie. The magazine also picks a woman for three older age brackets including the Chinese actress Gong Li (39 years).

Born in Shenyang, Liaoning, China, Gong Li has appeared in most films directed by Zhang Yimou up till 1995. She grew up in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province. In 1985, she enrolled in the Central Academy of Drama to study acting, and graduated in 1989. She was still a student there when Zhang Yimou chose her in 1987 for the lead role in his first film as a director, Red Sorghum, which was awarded the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. Gong Li has since become one of the most successful actresses in Chinese history, with fame that has extended abroad as well.

DVD cover design

IKU dvd cover design

DVD covers are in my opinion small movie posters. And I think there are some very good movie posters around! Unfortunately these sometimes great poster designs don't translate to the much smaller DVD inlay too well (or they get re-designed completely). This DVD cover of the very strange movie I.K.U. is pherhaps an exception. Very subtle and graphic design.

You want to know about the movie? It's a Japanese Sci-Fi Porn feature from the year 2000. A very weird movie about replicants selling virtual sex. I watched half of it and most at double speed. Too strange for me. Check out the official 'flashy' site with lot's of info about the film, the cast and it's female director Shu Lea Cheang.

In Japanese, IKU means going. When arriving at orgasm, the Japanese call out IKU, IKU. IKU is coming in Japanese. IKU is orgasm. (thus says the back cover) Also check out Marco's post about Japanese sex slang.

Tang Jia Li

Tang Jia Li

I just recently learned about Chinese beauty Tang Jia Li, a dancer/actress. According to magazine Asian Wave she has a calm "Mona Lisa" smile and a tranquil expression. Her agile body and delicate limbs befit her poise as a performer. After her nude art photo collection was published in China, it sparked so much negative scrutiny from the media and the internet that she almost committed suicide.

Fortunately she didn't and so people in Canada could see her this Summer performing in Senses, a modern Chinese opera about a new and modern face of Chinese women. Without discarding the hallmarks of Chinese tradition and history, the performance features an all-female cast of Chinese dancers, singers, and musicians with Tang Jia Li as female lead dancer. Japanese Sex Slang

I know that some of our visitors are frequent visitors of Japanese adult sites. But do you know what they mean when they talk about oppai, baibu or kogal? Or even worse, when they call you an ero-oyajii? I just found a site that has a nice overview of Japanese Sex Slang.

Natalise & Amy Nguyen @ HID Pleasanton 10/8/05

Natalise and Amy Nguyen

I apologize for the last minute notice but I just learned that Natalise will be performing live at Hot Import Daze in Pleasanton (near San Francisco) which takes place October 8th, 2005 from Noon to 7PM. I already knew that Amy Nguyen of xoxoamy.com was making a rare California appearance at this event but figured she had gotten enough "exposure" recently. Speaking of rare California appearances, Kalia Yang will be making one as well at this event.

While browsing the Hot Import Daze website, I came across the Glo Go dancers and here is a picture of them:

Red-light nights, Bangkok daze

Bangkok daze

Okay I know this is not the standard fare, but:

Spending an evening in the tawdry red-light districts of Bangkok with old friends and new ones, some may begin to ponder the decadence and depravity on offer and the people who participate in one of Asia's most renowned sex tourist destinations. Full story here. More...

The Peacock Princess: Yang Li Ping

Yang Li Ping

After all my recent posts on Hong Kong cinema (as well as some of Robin and badboy's recent posts!), I thought it was time for me to inject some real class into Asian Sirens. And what better way to do that than with the woman who is widely regarded as the greatest dancer in China - and in my humble opinion the greatest dancer in the world?

Yang Li Ping became famous overnight in 1986 for her performance in the Dai dance drama "The Peacock Princess". Although she's never had any formal training whatosever, she entered the China Central Song and Dance Ensemble of Nationalities in 1988. At the Second National Dance Contest, her dance "The Soul of the Peacock" (which she choreographed and performed herself) outshone all others and reaped two first prizes, one for choreography and another for her performance of the piece. Since then, she has become revered in China as the "peacock princess". More...

Just some flyer...

image

Just a flyer I picked up at a music store. I liked the dark and mysterious look of the model. Judging by the site of the partyplace I don't think a lot of Asian girls will attend though...
