When Izumi said she was all tied up she was probably being literal.
Izumi (aka Keiko Ono, Emi Shirakawa, Nozomi Shirakawa) was born Keiko Ishida on December 3, 1953 in Tokyo and began her career acting in 1975 on TV. In 1977 she began her run as an S&M leading lady and became one of the top S&M actresses of the 1980s, particularly 1982-3. It’s kind of odd, as usually somewhat rounder girls are preferred in bondage over slender girls like Izumi, so the rope marks are more easily seen (for those who go in for that kind of thing). Never did anything for me. Izumi was usually cast as the dominatrix in her later films. Probably less wear and tear.
